Forming a New Chapter

We welcome all applications from amateur-run dance clubs! Our Constitution requires chapters to be independent of professional dance organizations. Professional dancers may be members, but they may not be officers in the chapter. The prospective new chapter must have at least 25 members.

To receive an application form, email HomeOfficeSecretary@nationalsmoothdancers.org Return the application form in duplicate along with:

• The new chapter's slate of officers
• A copy of its Bylaws
• If incorporated, a copy of the Articles of Incorporation
• A $25 application fee (refundable if not approved)

The Secretary will process the application within thirty days after it is received.
